Nooceptin – Day 1

Over the last several weeks, I’ve been reading up on Nootropics. Nootropics are a branch of natural medicine that seeks to improve cognitive performance, up to the point of reducing symptoms of things like ADHD, anxiety, depression, and a whole host of other mental disorders. I stumbled on a product called Nooceptin that had a list of ingredients that I was already familiar with. Every review that I read of the product said that it was probably one of the best products on the market for improving mental performance. One review went as far as saying that it’s just as good as Adderall for folks suffering from ADHD with several folks chiming in their agreement. I think that sold me on giving it a shot, so I ordered a bottle.

Today was my first dose and I was really curious as to what I would feel. One reviewer said that the L-Theanine in the product worked better if you took the product with caffeine, so I drake it with a cup of coffee. Within about an hour, my face felt flushed, and I felt like I had a little bit of pressure in my eyes. It was a similar feeling to when you have your eyes dilated at the eye doctor. Both the flushed feeling and the eye thing went away after about 30 minutes, and for the rest of the morning, I just felt calm and focused. Most of the reviews state that the full effect of Nooceptin isn’t evident until the second or third week, so I’m excited to see what the future holds.
