Dear Mr. Mann – Yeti

Posted on May 6, 2025 by

Dear Yeti,

I need to thank you for something that most people would consider small. Insignificant, even. But to me, it’s everything. You make products in Navy Blue.

This is not a passing preference. This is a full-blown, lifestyle-shaping obsession. I don’t dabble in Navy Blue. I live in Navy Blue. My accessories. My gear. My travel mugs. My backpacks. My soul. If a product does not come in Navy Blue, it must fight twice as hard to earn my affection. Most fail.

But you. You understand.

You release your products in Navy Blue like it’s the most natural thing in the world. Like you’ve always known, there’s a group of us out here silently eliminating every other option from our carts unless it aligns with this one, beautiful, ocean-deep standard.

Recently, I bought your 24-oz Rambler Mug. In Navy Blue, of course. And I love it. I use it every single day. It holds the exact right amount of beverage. It feels solid in my hand. It keeps things hot when I forget them and cold when I abandon them. It’s the kind of mug that quietly says, “I’ve got you,” even when everything else in life feels slightly off.

If money were no object, I would build an entire Navy Blue shrine composed of your products. Coolers, tumblers, dog bowls, camp chairs, even the gear I don’t technically need but would absolutely find reasons to use. If it’s Navy Blue and it says Yeti on it, I want it. My house would become a dark blue monument to hydration and thermal insulation.

So, thank you. Thank you for understanding people like me. Thank you for giving us the freedom to be loyal to both brand and color. And thank you for making the kind of products that feel less like purchases and more like commitments to a better, more insulated life.

Sincerely,

James Gamble
