Dear Mr. Mann

Dear Mr. Mann is a collection of letters I’ve written to companies, brands, and occasionally the unsuspecting marketing department at a frozen pizza manufacturer. The premise is simple: I write to them. I ask questions, offer feedback, share odd thoughts, or make requests that range from sincere to slightly ridiculous. In return, they sometimes send me coupons or free stuff. More often, they send me absolutely nothing at all.

These letters are not really about the freebies. They’re about the game. The experiment. The small thrill of throwing a message into the corporate void and seeing what echoes back. I treat these interactions like a kind of performance art, a social experiment, and occasionally a way to amuse myself on a Tuesday afternoon. Some letters are polite. Some are dramatic. Some are written with the full expectation that no one will ever read them. But I write them anyway.

Why? Because somewhere deep inside those bland corporate email addresses and standardized customer service forms, there’s still a human being on the other side. And maybe, just maybe, that person will read my letter, laugh, and for a brief moment remember that not everything has to be so serious.
