I have had a fear for such a long time
My leg looked ugly but it felt fine
It took me a while to get it checked out
And I was so scared I wanted to shout
At the end of the day, I went to the doc
He told me he could fix it, within a turn of a clock
I was nervous and anxious and very much afraid
Nearly backing out after I had already paid
The day came and I took some pills
To calm me down and give me some chills
I was in and out faster than I could believe
Feeling no pain or shame, I could not conceive
I am recovering now with a new lease on life
Thankful for the support of my loving wife
I must see the doc a few more times
I am more than willing to give him all my dimes
I’ve had a bad vein in my left leg for more than twenty years. I finally got it looked at and had a minor surgery to repair it. I must have another surgery to remove some bad portions of the vein, but now that I know what to expect, it’ll be a breeze. It’s amazing how often we put off uncomfortable things only to realize that fixing those things isn’t as bad as it seems at first glance. I was so scared, but it was such a painless procedure. Don’t be like me.
