Leap

Posted on January 24, 2023February 10, 2023 by

When my end approaches
And the shadow encroaches
My restless soul poaches
In the light of my creator

Rising out of the ground
Hoping Heaven bound
Frightened to be found
In the light of my vindicator

It is such a mystery
Given my history
Why I’m not blistery
In the light of my conciliator

I am a Christian and believe in God and Heaven and Jesus and all the things that go along with that. I wrote Leap as a hope for a future after I’m gone, hoping that I will be able to see God and rest with him for all time.
